Who is responsible

The data controller is SIA "MK Būvniecība", registration number 42103060985, registered at Lauku iela 31/35, Liepāja, LV-3411, Latvia. For any question about your data, write to matiss@mkbuvnieciba.lv.

What we collect

Only what you type into the contact form: your name, email address, an optional phone number, the subject, and your message. Nothing else about you is collected by this site: there is no analytics, no advertising pixel, and no third-party script.

Our hosting provider records standard server data for each request, which it needs in order to serve the page at all:

• your IP address
• your browser and operating system, as your browser reports them
• the time of the request and the page requested

Why we use it

Your contact details are used to answer your enquiry and, where it leads to work, to carry out the contract with you. The legal bases are your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for the enquiry itself, and performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) once we are working together. Server logs are kept on the basis of our legitimate interest in a working, secure website (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Who else sees it

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone's marketing. It is handled by the processors we need in order to operate:

• Amazon Web Services, for hosting and content delivery.
• Amazon Simple Email Service, for delivering the notification email that carries your enquiry to us.
• Google, for the map on the contact page: when the map loads, Google receives your IP address and browser details.

Both operate under a data processing agreement. Where data leaves the EEA it does so under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for 24 months from the last contact, so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Where an enquiry becomes a contract, the accounting records that result are kept for the period Latvian law requires. Server logs are kept for 90 days.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask us to:

• give you a copy of the data we hold about you (Art. 15)
• correct anything inaccurate (Art. 16)
• delete it (Art. 17)
• restrict how we use it (Art. 18)
• send it to you or another controller in a machine-readable form (Art. 20)
• object to our using it (Art. 21)
• withdraw a consent you have given, at any time, without affecting what was lawful before you did (Art. 7(3))

Write to matiss@mkbuvnieciba.lv. We answer within one month. If you are not satisfied you may complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija, dvi.gov.lv).

How it is protected

The site is served only over HTTPS. Enquiries travel encrypted and are stored encrypted at rest. Access is limited to the people who need it to answer you.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us their data, write to matiss@mkbuvnieciba.lv and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially we will say so on this page, and the date below will change. Continuing to use the site after a change means the new version applies.
